Ramen recipe:
Ingredients:
- 200 grams of ramen noodles
- 1 liter of chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of miso paste (soybean paste)
- 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
- 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 piece of fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 carrot (julienned)
- 1 cup of fresh peas or pea shoots
- 200 grams of tofu or boiled chicken breast (optional)
- Fresh green onions (chopped, for garnish)
- Mustard or chili pepper (optional, if you like it spicy)
Instructions:
- Boil water in a pot and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once the noodles are cooked, drain and set them aside.

- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the broth. Stir until all the ingredients are well mixed.
- Add the julienned carrots and peas to the pot. Boil these ingredients for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are as tender as you like.
- If you want to add chicken breast or tofu, chop them into pieces and add them to the pot. Boil for a few more minutes.
- Add the boiled ramen noodles to the pot and heat everything together until well combined.
- Pour your ramen soup into bowls and top it with chopped fresh green onions and, if desired, mustard or chili pepper.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
